Creating Final Model
Now it is possible to create a final model for whole cyclone. The entity Solid can be defined only for a closed geometry. For any entity of type Solid the 3D mesh can be created directly in SALOME. For other types (Shell or Compound, Face) only surface mesh can be generated.
Navigate to the menu New Entity > Build > Solid and follow these steps (see Fig.
):
- Check the second icon (4 colored boxes).
- Set the Name to Cyclone-final.
- Set the Objects to Inlet-face, Inlet-body-final and Cyclone-rotPart-final.
- Check the Intersect/sew shapes option.
- Click Apply and Close.
